Pickup & Delivery
You are welcome to pick up materials from Reliable Soil and Stone during business hours in Lorain, Ohio. Our team can assist with loading mulch, limestone, gravel, topsoil, fill dirt, and other bulk landscape materials into your truck or trailer. Most standard pickup trucks can typically hold 1 to 2 cubic yards of mulch or approximately 1 ton of stone, gravel, soil, or sand depending on the vehicle. Please make sure your vehicle or trailer is rated to safely and legally carry the weight of the materials being loaded.

Reliable Soil and Stone offers convenient pickup and delivery services throughout Lorain, Ohio and surrounding Northeast Ohio areas. We can deliver materials whether someone is home or not. If no one will be available during delivery, payment must be made in advance and clear instructions must be provided for where the materials should be placed.

F.A.Q. – Can you dump materials on my driveway?
Yes, we can deliver directly onto most driveways or place the materials at the apron of the driveway if preferred. Our trucks service thousands of deliveries each year without issue. However, our trucks are heavy and can weigh over 20,000 pounds when fully loaded depending on the material being delivered. The condition and construction of your driveway determine whether it can safely support that weight. Reliable Soil and Stone is not responsible for driveway damage caused while delivering materials as requested by the customer.

F.A.Q. – Can you spread gravel or stone during delivery?
Our drivers will do their best to spread materials when possible depending on the property conditions, access, overhead wires, trees, obstacles, and available space. While we can assist with spreading during delivery, final grading or perfect placement is not guaranteed.

Delivery Information
Please choose a safe and accessible delivery location for your materials. Our trucks must raise the bed during unloading, so overhead clearance is extremely important. Be sure the area is clear of wires, tree branches, vehicles, or other obstacles before delivery.
